These are definitely amongst my most listened to sets. The quality and care given to some of these bands was next to none. Love the Wilco 2002/2004 sets, and particularly the Interpol show, when the band was in their prime. The Tracy Chapman set always seemed to catch peoples attention. These are all new rips, in lossless of course
So, I took it upon myself to gather as many performances as I could and create a chronological flow. The end result was great and in fact a few of the songs have become my preferred versions. Notably Lua, the People's Key tracks and the MOF appearances. Just a great listen. Kept all the tracks so there are a couple of duplicates, but they are different versions. There are roughly 66 tracks spanning the entire career do it was split into 2 zip files. Most files were FLAC, only a handful of lossy sources.
These performances can finally be cataloged and enjoyed after such a long absence of live output. I would like to encourage anyone close with the musician to put together a smaller, more concise single disc edition for the more casual fan. I just cant do subtraction.

Found this awhile back on reddit. Easily the best sounding recording of the band. Rare version of Metanoia. Thanks to the Source. I believe there were a lot of great recordings liberated that year from the festival.

The First Post will be a series of performances from Canadian Rock musician Feist. She appeared on KCRW on three occasions, each in support of a then current album release. She's also a member of indie rock group Broken Social Scene and will appear again in those posts.
I love these performances. Especially the 2007 set in support of her breakthrough success she received after the release of The Reminder, which became the most popular independent release that year and put her on Sesame Street.
The perfect take on The Park, possibly her best song is the grail of this package. That and her candid and faithful interview where she talks mostly about recording influences and lyrical inspirations. Feist shows are rare so this is the motherload we are left with currently. The first episode is lossy but will upgrade that in time, as I get a sense about my purpose and obligation to the misfits to speak up for oneself.

Throwing this out there to gauge interest in Radio Sessions specifically. Got tired of excavating the entire internet for lossless recordings of several of my favorite shows. Gona do it in my free time to create a go to resource of these alternate takes on some great music.
The first order of business will be liberating the KCRW Archives for their show, Morning Becomes Eclectic.
Then it will be making available other types of high quality recordings and unique performances. Mostly left untouched but in a few cases, a light and respectful audio mastering pass for tweaks and normalizations.
The overall design will improve as I learn the software and spend some time with it.
Money donated will go to increasing output and quality with modest and essential equipment. Still learning this as I go. All advice is most welcome and encouraged.
